3D Modeling

My interest in Engineering stems from my curiosity with how things fit together and work, which has led to my particular interest in assembly design with CAD softwares such as SOLIDWORKS, CATIA v6 or Fusion 360. Modeling efficiently is a crutial step within the design process, which has allowed me to bring ideas and concept sketches one step closer to reality. In my exploration of CAD software, I have come to appreciate the power of analysis tools such as Tolerance Stack-Up, FEA, CFD and CAM , which are essential to produce feasible and optimized real-life products.

Furthermore, I have extended my knowledge beyond traditional CAD programs to analytical softwares such as LTSpice or COMSOL. Using these tools has allowed me to predict performance rates, heat loss and optimize designs based on the desired purpose. In essence, Engineering, to me, is the application of scientific principles to create real-life applications. In the search to make meaningful designs for people and the environment, 3D modeling has proven to be a powerful means to successfully achieve this goal.
