ENERGY AND THE ENVIRONMENT
My passion for Engineering and creating solutions constantly grows due to the challenges presented by our world. I am particularly interested in contributing to topics related to energy transition and the environment, while hoping to keep growing and developing under this mission.
Though active participation in community projects, I’ve gained valuable insights regarding the issues our planet and community faces. As a member of a research laboratory, I actively contribute at making carbon fiber samples to eliminate the generation of PFAS in groundwater. Moreover, by using ASPEN PLUS, I have applied concepts of thermodynamics to real-life analysis of different fuels, enabling me to make informed comparisons. My passion extends to the urgent reduction of energy consumption in the built environment, which accounts for nearly one third of the globally energy consumed. Main solutions include the strategic use of shading, ventilation, or efficient material choice. Additionally, the incorporation of renewable energy technologies such as solar panels, geothermal heat pumps, or wind energy can drastically reduce the electricity consumption and financial costs.
Realizing the feasibility of carbon-free emitting solutions within my community has been a driving force, motivating me to delve deeper into his field. I am committed to responsible social impact and innovation, and applying my fundamentals in Mechanical Engineering to create sustainable design solutions.
